Temporary Relocation of Police Department |

Beginning Sunday, February 17, the Waynesville Police Department will be operating from its temporary location on North Main Street. The temporary location is the former site of the Dr. Owen Smith Clinic at 1101 North Main Street and is just down the street from the new fire station currently under construction. This will be the temporary location of the Waynesville Police Department as the existing station on South Main Street is renovated and expanded. The temporary building was retrofitted with an updated electrical system and new computer network to allow all operations, including dispatch, to be conducted from this building. All telephone numbers to the Police Department will remain the same: 456-5363 is the main department number. 911 service will not be interrupted during the move on Sunday and all offices will be operating their normal hours beginning Monday, February 18. |

Utility Emergencies After Hours/Weekends |

Electric, Streets, Water and Sewer Departments can be reached Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. by calling 456-3706. If you have a utility emergency after normal business hours, on weekends or holidays please call the Waynesville Police Department at 456-5363. |
